My name is Karli and I am a lettering artist based in Charleston, SC. I am a restless adventurer and serial hobbyist incapable of doing one thing at a time. As long as I’ve been writing I have been obsessively critiquing and modifying my handwriting and asking myself questions like “what does a bubble dot above the “i” say about me?”. Needless to say, I find lettering fascinating and am a little bit of a perfectionist.
With a background in libraries, community engagement and outreach, I am excited to join my love of organization, people and collaboration and my talents as a lettering artist. Hot Dogs and High Fives is rooted in lettering and bringing them to life in murals, fonts and signs.
